When does a $120 donation
cost only $10?

I love doing automatic monthly donations.  It's a way to budget my philanthropy.  I usually give $10  per month to 3 organizations that I like and can follow on Facebook, and by the end of the year I write off $120 for each!  Painless and heartwarming!"

See Me, Love Me, Take Me Home For The Holidays

UPDATE:  We have increased adoptions by 25% in December!
Which is great considering that HSSPV did not have the offsite cat adoption opportunity they had last year, and the large numbers of Pit Bulls in the shelter at this time.  The shelter manager says she is thrilled at our numbers!

More animals finding loving homes!

How?   Gorgeous photos of dogs and cats will be starring on BIG TVs out in public, so that holiday shoppers passing by will see them, fall in love, and head over to the shelter nearby to adopt them and bring them home for the holidays - and forever!

Not only is this fun and exciting - it's a matter of life and death - literally!
Even though Colorado has a higher adoption rate than a lot of other places, more than 100 animals per DAY are put down -  just in Colorado!

Details:  Big screen TVs will be set up at Aspen Grove Shopping Center in Littleton, CO starting onNov 22, 2013 and will run slideshows like the ones you can see here on the "SHOWS" page.

Our goal?  Double the adoptions of cats and dogs from a nearby animal shelter- the Humane Society of South Platte Valley.

Yesterday, self care turned into a kick in the pants + $20

Yesterday I FINALLY went and got a massage.  And boy did I need it!  Patty, my CMT is a friend as well, so we were catching up a bit.

I was telling her about how exciting things were with People Helping Pets - getting amazing support and donations from Listen Up and BrightSign, a PC from Alan; increasing HSSPV adoptions by 24%; and now creating a new show now for Big Dogs Huge Paws.

And that I am frustrated - on the verge of really going big with this and getting hung up on the digital signage software.

“I can get training to learn the software and that should help me really get it set up and running as well, but the training is $200 - and I just don’t have it”, I said.

“Here” she said, using the tips of her lotioned-up fingers to fish a twenty out of her pocket, “ Here’s $20, now you just need 9 more people to give you $20 and do the training”.

I wasn’t in a position to argue.  It seemed like a worthy challenge - and doable.  And with nearly instant results that could literally save thousands of lives and hearts!

I’m up for the challenge - are you?

Are you one of the 9 people who cares enough to help me make this happen?

Just $20.  Today.  Please and thank you.
